Pension U Matesa - Kundenbewertungen

We've spent 4 days in Cesky Krumlov, in B&B (Pension) U Matesa. We had an accomodation in a double room. Actually, the "room" consisted of two rooms (a small living-room with a couch and TV/minibar on the ground floor and a bedroom with TV on the first floor) and a shower/WC. The accomodation has a very nice location, however it was a bit hard to locate by car without a proper map.
The breakfeast was very nice.
I've met two spiders in the room.
In overall, we'd recommend the place.

We loved this place. The people were friendly and helpful, the room was nice and comfortable, and the price was right. The breakfast was varied and good.

I feel that this is a well kept facility that is worth the monies you pay. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful. You are situated close to the old town and close to historical sites.

Somewhat expensive for what it is. The room was clean, and management were friendly, and breakfast was very good, and location somewhat out of the way, but OK.

zdravim vsechny, s penzionem u Matesa jsme byli opravdu max. spokojeni a to jak s pokojem takovym tak i se strasne ochotnym panem majitelem. Pokud bych tam jeste nekdy jel tak jedine sem. Je to sice na me kapanek drazsi nebot nejsem zadny milionar, ale napr. vyhled na reku po ranu za to urcite stoji. Parkovani pro auta je primo u penzionu a zajizdi se tam pres zonu po nabrezi, kde nasledne dostanete povoleni od personalu.
Moc tedy dekuji.

I visited with my wife, 1 year old son and my younger brother.
WE enjoyed staying at U Matesa. It was clean, very spacious. The only thing I didn't like was that the doona was too short.
WE would consider staying at U Matesa again.

This was a wonderful stay and a great location. We had a very hard time finding the Pension inspite of the maps. Verbal directions, that you actually have to go through the center of town then exit and turn right along the river after you cross the bridge would have been great. We finally had to ask the poiice how to get there. This pension is looking right at the castle and is walking distance to anything in town you would like to see. The rooms were very large and the breakfast that was included was great. There is a pub attached to the pension so it can be a bit noisy at night but if you close the windows it's just great. The bonus was that there is a place to park the car. The rafts that go down the river, stop in front at the beer garden and we would definitely have done a river canoe if we had more time. The town is so pretty and very quiet at night once the tourist have left. Just a warning that English is spoken enought to get buy but not a lot, at the pension

too bad I had to catch an early bus the next day, didn't get to try the breakfast.

Dokonalé a příjemné ubytování i prostředí. Počasí se ovlivnit nedá, a tak i přes dešt bylo krásně a mohli jsme si projít nejbližší centrum. Nabídka večerního menu byla asi díky sezónnímu času menší, ale taky jsme si pochutnali. Celkově 100% spokojenost.

The pension is on the shore of the river. The beautiful historic centre of Krumlov is on the other side. Everyhing is within walking distance: castle, museums, hiking trails through a beautiful landscape, restaurants and shops.

My husband and I (from Australia) stayed at Pension U Matesa for 3 nights and could not find a fault, apart from the language communication issues at times. The room was spacious and spotless with a beautiful view of the river. We have travelled Europe for the past 2 months and so far Cesky Krumlov has been our favourite destination. The town is enchanting. The scenery is stunning, the people very friendly and the food is delicious - especially the pork knuckle at Pension U Matesa!

I was very pleased over all with the Pension, good location, well refurbished room - especially at this price, reasonable breakfast.

I think CK is one the most beautiful place in Czech and this pension will be a very good choice to stay. I spent 3 very nice days in this place with my friend. We booked the small apartment but it is much bigger beyond our expectation. The room is very clean and surroudning is good as well.
